You know the lentil soup you find at just about every Middle Eastern restaurant? My family is hooked. I love how you can go to just about any Lebanese restaurant and get a cup of the same delicious soup for just a few bucks. And while you can make it fancier if you want, I love that I can make a big pot of hearty soup in about a half an hour. But mostly it is so simple that after a couple of batches you won’t even need a recipe. And Z and I were able to dance around the kitchen while making a batch because we can make it in less time than it takes to pick up out take-out order.
