I’m not sure why we don’t hear more about mango lassi. I see smoothie shops all over, even those boba tea shops, but mango lassi is the original smoothie. A simple blend of mango and yogurt, they are a little bit sweet and very refreshing.
So there’s not much to this recipe, just throw everything into the bender and blitz til smooth. Easy, right? You can use fresh mango if you want, but frozen mango gives you a lassi that is more like a smoothie which I love. And seriously, frozen mango is really good. The most important thing? A straw. Why? Because most drinks taste better with a straw.

- 2 cups frozen mango chunks
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- ½ cup milk, more if needed to thin it out
- 1 tablespoon honey
- a dash of salt
- Blitz in blender until smooth
